Review on HP 14 inch HD Laptop with Ryzen 3, 16GB RAM, 1TB HDD - Business & Student-friendly by Petar Moysov ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I do not cease to rejoice at the purchase, a very good deal!

It does what it's supposed to do; in Chrome, it opens new tabs swiftly and smoothly; YouTube videos play without buffering, with only some motion blur resulting from the nature of the video content. I just tried it out on two different browsers and YouTube is playing without a hitch. Word and Excel files, despite their weight, open and scroll smoothly. Games weren't installed. Bought with the intention of using them at work.

Pros
  • To be specific, we're discussing the HP 14s-fq0085ur Notebook (AMD Athlon 3150U 2400MHz/14"/8GB/256GB SSD/AMD Radeon Graphics/Windows 10 Home). It matches up with what was advertised. The memory consists of 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) sticks. There are actually just two nuclear cores in the processor, but the manager reports that there are four. Superb 28as template as of Aug 31st, 2022. The optimal price-to-quality ratio. The material is high grade and matte, making the case resistant to fingerprints and dirt. Common typewriter. The touchpad seems standard; I can't imagine why any other buyers would be disappointed. As far as cases go, this one isn't any worse than the other $75 laptop we have. The loudness is adequate, and the sound quality is adequate for a laptop in this price range. 4.5 out of 5, no apparent dead pixels, "glare"-free screen.
Cons
  • When I checked the warranty at the time of purchase on the HP website, it revealed that the remaining warranty period was only 6 months, from January 2022 to March 2022; nevertheless, the retailer told me that the guarantee was a full year from the date of purchase. The battery was entirely dead when I bought it; I had to use the AC adapter to switch on the laptop, and after 5 minutes, the battery was showing only 2% charge. When using Windows, the rate of battery drain was roughly 20% per hour after a full charge at home. However, research into power usage reveals that Chrome is responsible for consuming the majority (75%) of available juice. However, it was discovered that even when turned off, the battery diode, which is positioned on the side of the SD socket cards (see photo), remains on and drains 15% of the battery in 5 hours. The mains-side diode of the power outlet does not glow in this scenario. According to the battery test, everything is OK to go. Tell me who knows until I figure out what's going on.
