This ball is great. It is very easy to see even when it is pitch black. I've played with it for a while with my kids now on the original batteries. They come with a bunch of additional batteries. It is impact activated and stays lit for 30 seconds which is more than enough time to get another touch in. When we play it always stays on. The ball is slightly harder than an official soccer ball but not bad enough to make it difficult to play with. It really gives you extra playing time when it gets dark early and you still want to play.
