Okay, I forgot that this is a dual-mode satellite. I keep trying to connect to my Orbi but it doesn't show up for the others. I tried and tried, then remembered it was a dual mode satellite. It comes out of the box in extender mode. So I had to change it to orbital mode. It took a while, but it was in the instructions. As soon as I put it in Orbi mode, my Orbi router found it. This is my second Orbi Alexa. The first was set to orbit mode and the router found it very quickly with no problems. It was a quick and easy install. I found out they had beta firmware that improved Alexa that wasn't released. Well, because this is beta firmware. So if you are having problems with this Alexa, check if the beta firmware will help with your problems. I also updated the firmware for this second Orbi Alexa and it installed with no issues. Now I have Wi-Fi connectivity throughout the house. I was wondering why this Alexa got so many bad reviews when my first one worked so well. now i know why It may be because people don't read the manual. It tells you you want the mode you're in when you read it and tells you how to switch modes. I haven't had any issues with the various things I have connected via Wi-Fi or as long as they are set up properly. Update a few days after my first review. I log into my xm satellite account and link it to my Alexa account and it works great. You just have to say the right words and it works. Not really surprised as xm got a bad rating too. I will say I tried this on the first Orbi Alexa when I first did it and it didn't work. That was about a year ago, I can't remember exactly. Maybe with a beta firmware update they could fix some things. Just thought I'd post about it. I found the ring door to take a very long time and sometimes not connect at all. I removed the daisy chain and now it works without any problems. Every time I had a daisy chain, the doorbell would take some time to load or wouldn't load at all. So I placed the router in the middle of the house and placed the satellites around it in different directions, eliminating the need for a daisy chain. I've also seen that choosing the right channels really makes a difference with these Orbi routers. I've had other brands and there wasn't much of a difference in the channels the router ran on, but with Orbi I feel that choosing the right channel makes a difference.
