I'm not an expert in 3D printing, but I have some free time as an amateur. I just printed 3 rolls of Hatchbox PLA in a month. I ordered it as an alternative because it was recommended by the YouTube 3D printing channel, I liked the color and the price was right. I haven't changed anything in the slicer settings, table orientation or temperature. I pulled out the empty spool, put it on and started typing. Every print was garbage. I tried several different models over the weekend and had to throw them all away. Neither of them held on to the pressure platform. I re-leveled my platform, changed the temperature settings, adjusted the thickness of the first layer, and cleaned the build plate. Nothing worked. I traded in an unused reel for another Hatchbox reel. It may have been a bad reel, but I don't want to waste my time or energy reviewing an unused reel. My prints need to come out reliably every time.
