I had these shoes for only slightly longer than a month before they broke. The buckle snapped while I was mid-turn, right where it connects with the strap. I wore them twice a week for a two-hour dance lesson. Shoes should definitely hold up long than a month- ballroom shoes should last through basic practices throughout a week. The company offered to send me replacement buckles, but there is no way to attach buckles without disassembling the shoe, as the buckle is help on by a loop that is sewn onto the upper heel. I do not have the equipment to take apart and resew a shoe, so this was a very impractical solution. When I told them this, they suggested I contact Revain directly. It broke less than two weeks past the date for eligible returns, but since it is past that window, Revain will not replace the product.
