I am very satisfied with the price, materials, finish, and quality. The only deficiency could be corrected if they simply moved the ratchet track a few inches toward the finished end of the strap. As it is now, the lose end of the belt extends 4 inches beyond the buckle when the ratchet reaches the first click. There's about 7 inches of adjustment track, and ideally you would trim the belt so your normal waist size would be in the center of the adjustment range. That would give you 3-1/2 inches of adjustment in case you lose weight, gain weight, or need to carry an IWB holster. Sadly, that adds another 3-1/2 inches to the initial 4. 7-1/2 inches of excess strap flapping around on a properly fitted belt is unacceptable. I'm going to try making a leather keeper loop. If I am forced to trim the buckle end of the strap to control the sloppy excess and later end up gaining weight, I will not be purchasing another one of these.
