I've only been using it for a week and here are some initial comments - Pros -1. Not too big 2. Good design - aesthetics, the ability to switch from one application to another without leaving the current application3. External volume control - no need to touch the screen multiple times to increase or decrease the volume.4. Automatic brightness - there is a light sensor5. GPS app color scheme - not too bright at night to make you turn it off.6. Sensitive GPS7 chip. Fast processor - provides fast GPS updates and fast application response8. Excellent Bluetooth - searches and connects to your phone as soon as the device is switched on9. Ability to play a variety of music and videosCons-1. Too fat or big to carry in your pocket2. Battery life - again makes it more like a car GPS than one you carry in your pocket when walking around New York.3. MEDIUM GPS application - a. Does NOT show which street you are currently on! b. Highway icons (including highways and states) are generic icons - you need to figure out that 86 is I-86 and 17 is NY-17!4. FM Transmitter - As with most GPS devices, the FM transmitter is useless! My request to Harman Kardon - I have many Harman Kardon products and this is the first thing I'm not very happy with - Please improve the GPS app in the next update. - If they're charging over $500 for it, why not buy newer Garmin devices with lane assist? Please hurry to update your GPS app before Garmin catches up to you.
