Review on 💡 Godox 5600±300K: The Ultimate Wirelessly Controlled Brightness Solution by Stuart Dunn

PLUS POINTS: - PRICE! - $134 vs. $675 for the Aputure 120D. - Good CRI (not colossal, but normal for 90% of the work), nothing superfluous in skin tones is visible. - Good performance (see attached image) but not too bright - My kit comes with many accessories including barn doors, remote control, color gels and micro grid attachment - all for the same price as a standalone light from other sellers on Revain. This is one of those products that you should shop at and get the best bang for your buck. - Comes with a cap for the LED which is not found on many flashlights. It is very important during transportation. - Looks solid for its price. Not metallic like the 120D, but not too underpowered either (a few exceptions to this are noted below) - The fan is noisy when used near your mics, but a simple mod is easy to find on YouTube. To be honest I haven't modified mine yet and haven't had any issues with fan noise. However, it's there if you try to listen to it. CONS: - Fan noise. There's really no reason Godox can't make this thing $15 more and put a silent fan in it. The same goes for their more powerful models. So stupid. - The stand bracket and the fastening mechanisms on the corners are made of plastic and don't seem to be durable. If you have a large modifier on the front of this light, be careful not to over-tighten the corner cocking lever. Plastic is designed to fail. - The Bowens shutter is poorly made, the light sticks to several of my modifiers and doesn't let go without problems.
