Review on TrailMax Heavy Horses Newly Designed by Shannon Davis

Not *this* Heavy Duty

My horse is very rough with his feed sacks, he grabs them from behind with his paws and raises his head as he steps on them. She destroyed 4 different brands in a few weeks. I was hoping this one would hold, but the buckle snapped on her first meal. I did NOT want to buy a new feed bag again so I attached a strap with a carabiner so she couldn't tear it. It worked fine, but after a week or so she took it apart and tore off the bottom half along the seam. Still determined, I went into the Hobby Lobby and found their strongest outdoor upholstery fabric (with a disgusting print, shameful) and some industrial-grade thread, and spent three hours reinforcing each seam and sewing the fabric along the parts that should have endured. worst beating. It's been almost a month and a half and so far so good. So. A feed bag will probably work fine for the average, well-behaved horse, but be prepared to add plenty of reinforcement for everything else.
