Absolutely perfect. My dog is a bit afraid of the lake where we live. The water is a bit deep for him and every time we went in he was completely petrified. We went to the lake the same day we received this life jacket and he is so much happier! Now he'll really jump off the dock and swim even further to keep up with his brother! This is an Australian Cattle Dog. I bought a medium size for it and it fits perfectly. The only problem I have is that the straps are pretty difficult to tighten. I accidentally loosened the back strap to make it tighter and it doesn't seem to work.
