Valuable purchase, nothing but pluses!
Enough of his hours for 7-8 when performing undemanding tasks. The socket is almost always at hand, so I have enough (on the official website they write about 11-12 hours - I could not repeat it). In general, the laptop is excellent except for the cooling system. Because of it, I took the base model on i3, the power consumption is less, it copes with all the tasks I need perfectly.
- I will compare with the previous Air 11 2022. The new Air 2022 has: 1. Great keyboard. I specially took the version for the states so that there was a normal Enter and a long left Shift (2022 was official for 2022, I could not get used to it after 2 years of ownership). In terms of the convenience of the response, 2022 is also excellent, I didn’t want to take the 2022-2022 keyboards due to known problems. 2. Fingerprint scanner. It is very convenient to turn it on with one click without entering a password. 3. Touchpad. Top versions of analogues on Windows are being selected, but so far Apple is still more convenient. 4. Screen. After 1366x768 on the old one, Retina 2022 is just a fairy tale. I am not a designer or a master of Photoshop, I judge by simple work with text - my eyes get tired less.
- 1. Cooling system. In 2022, I heard the cooler several times in all the time, it was constantly cold when performing everyday tasks (video, browsing, office applications). Here, watching a 4k video is enough to turn on the cooler and heat up (due to the peculiarities of the cooling system, the cooler spins in vain and simply blows air out of the case). The metal part of the case above the keyboard and the bottom cover heat up to an uncomfortable state. 2. Weight. More of a nitpick, but the difference between the Air 2022 and Pro 2022 isn't as big (110g). Feels like it is not so Air. If earlier weight could become an argument in choosing a model (especially when version 11 was released), now it is unlikely.
