Review on TicWatch Introduces The Ultimate TicPods Collection: TicPods 1, TicPods 2 Standard, And TicPods 2 Pro In Navy by David West

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Sub par sound quality and plastic feel, good battery and works decently well.

Overall, the earphones are nothing special. The bad:1. Audio quality is truly not great, it's not even close to being on par with Airpods, JBL or Sony. There is no bass, and the general sound quality suffers. It's not terrible, but it's not good.2. Touch controls are finicky, once you find the right spot they work pretty well but expect a few days to get used to it.3. The app never works. There are settings such as EQ adjustments, auto stop/play, etc. Settings which you can only change through the app, and most of the time even if your earphones are connected, the app won't see it and you'll have to pair and unpair a few times.4. Plastic quality feels cheap, once again you shouldn't think you're getting Airpods quality product.5. Often a side will not get audio for a second or will be static while it reconnects. It's not permanent but definitely noticable.6. Only 1 mic, so if you're using for a phone call you have to make sure you have the right one in your ear.The good:1. The charging case is small with USB C which is nice as most phones today are.2. One of the few wireless earbuds that don't have silicone bits, so good for outdoor exercise. They stay in my ear very well.3. When I remove the earbud from my ear it automatically pauses.

Pros
  • The TicPods 1 offers reliable wireless connectivity and a long-lasting battery life
Cons
  • The design of the TicPods makes it difficult to secure them in the ear comfortably.
