Review on Satin Spark Plug Wire Loom Set for Big Block Chevy - R&M Specialties 1102S by Eric Speers

Excellent loom

Although this type of bolted loom is a bit difficult to assemble, it looks great once assembled. You have to assemble it a little loosely, slide the wires where they should be, then take it off and tighten everything. But then everything stays the same. It's nice because it holds the cables fairly tightly. So if you change spark plugs or pull on the valve cover, everything stays in place. Something like this works better with custom length connector wires if you cut them to length and crimp them onto the manifold end. On my new Gen 6 454 with full-size headers and GM "Hi-Po" cast cylinder heads in a full-size '85 Chevy truck, it bolted to the factory cast-aluminum valve cover bolts without washers and provided ample exhaust clearance. . However, a set of approximately 1/4" shims are included if you need to increase this a bit in your application. However, the kit does not include bolts to attach to the valve covers, so you'll have to come up with longer bolts/bolts if you need spacers.
