Because of the value I give this set 5 stars. If price wasn't a rating component I would probably give the drives 2 or 3 stars for themselves. I'm pretty sure they're DX plastic. but it's a little different than anything I've seen before. When hitting the trees with the driver or mid, the edges of the disc quickly become unconventional. On hot days, these discs become quite soft. The driver throws well. I would compare it to Innova Valkyrie. I'm guessing it's a speed 9 or 10. It's a little heavier than the average Innova DX disc and significantly heavier than a 3 star disc. The mids are similar to the Innova Roc 3. It's slightly heavier than the ROC 3 and less versatile. It's a good disc but I'm guessing it's a speed 3 or 4 which is a bit slower than the ROC 3. I LOVE the racquets that come with this set. It's hard, sure, but I don't mind. They cut off the wind and go where I want. On really sunny days they warm up, soften and stick to the tracks quite well. If you've had a season or two of disc golf and want to get your friends playing, these discs are perfect. If you are a beginner they are perfect for hiking and learning. These are not championship quality wheels but they should last a season and they fly well! slides back in easily. A really good buy for the money!
