Review on 🥛 Norpro Plastic Measuring Cup with 4-Cup Capacity by Ashley Collins

I bought this without noticing a warning in the review about the wrong marking for the measurement. This review dates back to 2012, so it seems the company either fixed the issue or just released a low-quality batch at the time. I repeated the "test" below: 1. Fill to 700ml2. Pour the liquid into another container until the measuring cup shows 500ml3 left. Empty the measuring cup 4. Pour the remaining 200ml back into another container and see what the measuring cup says. Guess what? Shows 200 ml as expected. I've also tested at other cup levels and it was correct every time. So the original problem doesn't seem to be relevant anymore. I like the 4 cup size because my recipes often call for more than 2 cups (that's all my glass measuring cup will hold). Plastic retains its lightness even when filled with liquid. I took off a star because I noticed that some of the writing is beginning to fade after many spins in the dishwasher, so I don't think it will last long. UPDATE: I forgot to clarify in my original review that I was also comparing this item to one of my old Pyrex glass measuring cups. Pour 1-2 glass cups into this plastic---matches the lines perfectly; Adding 1-2 more glass cups to the plastic cup also confirms the last marks. So mine is pretty accurate and although there has been some fading it is still legible after almost 3 years (photo below).
