BUYER BEWARE. The measuring cup I received is completely inaccurate! After I was done with the uncooked rice and pancake batter, I realized the problem was in the measuring cup. To test this I poured 1 cup of water into the measuring cup and as I suspected the cup measured about 2/3 of a cup. Every time I measured a cup from there, I got at least 1/3 cup of extra liquid. I bought this to add chemicals to my pool. I noticed that the amount of liquid in the cup seemed to be more than advertised, so I compared it to reliable measuring sets I use in my kitchen for cooking/baking. It doesn't work like a measuring cup. It is very convenient for soap making. And therefore. I bought them for soap making. I knew the test leads would likely come loose. Plastic measuring cup is easy to read, easy to clean and durable; but for most I don't think it matters if it's not exact, and I don't think it's mine. I drink coffee from a huge mug, but I prefer to heat the water and pour it out than to heat the water in the mug. It took me forever to find a meter that could hold 20 ounces of water and still fit in the microwave without getting so hot I couldn't touch it.
