Review on 🐠 MingDak LED Aquarium Light - Submersible Crystal Glass Underwater Lights: White Light/Blue Light for Fish Tanks by Christine Radcliffe

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good light is best for fish and aquatic animals

I am very satisfied with this light, especially for the price! I bought this to serve as a "moonlight" for my 30 gallon tank as it gets a lot of strong light during the day. I usually turn on a bright light from 7am to 7pm and switch to that light in the evening. This helps reduce the risk of algae and gives the aquarium a calmer look. It also lights up my fish in such a way that they really change color to a deep hue, making them look almost like other fish. I've only spent about 1 week in the aquarium, but so far everything is fine and I'm completely satisfied. Check out the attached before and after pictures to see the contrast between the high light and this light. If you're hoping to use this to light an aquarium, it should be 10 gallons or less. Even at 10 gallons I have a hard time believing that this gives enough light to actually grow good plants. It can grow some plants in low light in a small fish tank. Anything larger than 10 gallons, and that light is basically just accent or moon phase lighting.
