Update: the description and the photo have a transparent transparent cover. I thought I had a matte finish. After some use I saw that the corner was beginning to peel off and realized that there was foil on either side of each panel. I disassembled it, took off the foil and lo and behold, everything is clean. It's a nice little cap for the Pi Zero W and the other items are pretty handy (although buying a small Phillips screwdriver just makes me laugh, but I think they're suggesting most people won't have one that's too small for screw heads fits). in this sentence). So a good set for the price.
