Review on Merrell J034353 Breakwater Athletic Men's Shoes by David Merculief

Tried both leather and synthetic versions. Arch support was excellent and the sockliner felt well constructed and durable. They were very thin. I usually wear wide Merrell shoes and they don't come in wide sizes. Increasing the size didn't solve the problem because they got too loose and still not wide enough. Both the leather and synthetic straps chafed on the top of my foot and I noticed this within minutes of wearing them. It may have disappeared once they were hacked. If they came out in a larger size I would definitely try them again. For the record, I've been wearing Teva Katavi flip flops (which don't get very far either) for longer than I can remember.
