Review on 💻 DIYmall USBASP Programmer: Enhanced AVR Downtloader & Flash Tool for Arduino Ender 3 Pro 5V/3.3V with Jumper Cap by Dave Hunt

This programmer was just what I needed to upgrade my 8-bit 3D printer's motherboard. The product listing on Revain has links to the necessary drivers for Windows, so it was easy to follow these instructions to get the adapter working. Once installed, the programmer worked perfectly with the Arduino IDE and Avrdude software. The adapter had an older version of the USBasp firmware preinstalled, so avrdude generated a few "sclk" warnings, but still finished programming without problems. Please note that the supplied ISP cable is very short. A USB extension cable is practically necessary unless the programmable board can be placed close to your computer's USB port (not mounted in your project/printer/etc.). Overall, I rate this programmer four stars. It does its job well, but it would have been better if the kit had a longer cable and the latest USBasp firmware (which came out almost 10 years ago, 2011).
