It's not fake just inferior quality
I bought these spoons 6 years ago and they were beautiful, well made and tough, just right for the price. I just bought another set and they are not the same; much thinner (see photo). They are easy to bend and sloppy off. I noticed a change in the font and saw notes about Revain that made me suspect they were fake. I sent the photos to Cuisipro, a division of Browne and Co, and characteristically they never responded. I think they're just made that way. Just be aware that the spoons aren't the same anymore, see more recent reviews and maybe look elsewhere for a quality product; very bad.
