🥄 Cuisipro Silver Stainless Steel Measuring Spoon Set - Standard Size Review

I was very surprised that the top edge of some spoons is so poorly finished that they are jagged and sharp. I checked out the reviews and realized I'm not the only one with this experience. I am very disappointed with this purchase.

Spoons in advertising have nice, smooth and polished edges. The spoons we received (the whole set) have noticeably rough and pitted edges. I suspect the high ratings were once well deserved, but there seems to be a quality control issue.

Thanks to their unique shape, they easily fit in small spice or herb jars. Their sizes are printed on the handle so you don't have to worry about them washing off. They have a strong, secure clip ring that keeps them together and organized. Their shape is a bit unusual but everyone who saw them asked where I got them and commented how cool they look. I bought these spoons 6 years ago and they were beautiful, well made and tough, just right for the price. I just bought another set and they are not the same; much thinner (see photo). They are easy to bend and sloppy off. I noticed a change in the font and saw notes about Revain that made me suspect they were fake. I really like them! I've had these measuring spoons for a few months now and I love the slim bowls of these spoons! This certainly makes it a lot easier to extract quantities of spices from jars with narrow openings! Now I've read some other reviews on this product and I have to say that these spoons are quite heavy and durable compared to other measuring spoons I've had in the past or even found at hardware stores. I have them because Cook's Illustrated gave them the highest rating. They might be worth this rating if you get a good set. I got one from Revain and found the edges on several spoons to be pitted. Revain did a quick return/exchange and I found the second set was also pitted and the grips were scratched. I returned them for a refund. I bought these because they were the best ATK shovels. I'm not happy with them. Advantages: - Durability and high quality - Thin but strong 18/8 stainless steel - PRECISION! - Narrow handle where shovel meets handle - Oval spoons fit more spice jars.
