Review on πŸ₯„ Cuisipro Silver Stainless Steel Measuring Spoon Set - Standard Size by Mandy Johnson

Great spoons - again!

Recently we decided to buy a second set of these spoons as we often need more than one and our other set wasn't as convenient to use. When I went to order, I read several reviews that suggested the quality had dropped. I can only say: I don't see it. I've posted a photo of both sets - the old ones on the left, the new ones on the right. Since one reviewer said they didn't measure the same thing, I took some water and tested it - I couldn't visually tell any difference in filling as I carefully poured the liquid into one of the other. One reviewer complained of roughness. In both sets, mine are well made. There were three differences - two purely cosmetic. 1) The old set was shinier while the new one is a bit darker and more muted. (This is most noticeable in the bowl. The old set is slightly scratched, making the handles look darker.) 2) The Cuisipro logo below has a different font. I never noticed until I flipped them for the grip point. 3) The slight curve at the tip of the spoon is slightly smaller in the new set. That doesn't really suit me, because they sit straight on the old TV, but they tilt a little more on the new one. We didn't use it much in practice, but it was nice to have that option when we needed it. But perhaps with mass-produced products, the friction is enough for things to stay in the spoon. One can hope. (Sorry, I should have tested that before casting them) In any case, both kits are way better than any other we've used, so hopefully everyone but-you-my-favorite-spoon-the-first-reduced will grumble . Note compared to the more rectangular version: both make it easier to access the cans. I prefer this oval shape because I find it distributes the ingredients better (circles do this even better, but they don't fit jars that well, so there's always a trade-off). But I think it's mostly a matter of taste.
