These ramp seat belts are designed to hold the ATV's loading ramp against the truck bed to prevent it from slipping back when backing up. ATV is loaded. Without them, the ATV's rear tires could push the ramp back when the front wheels are on the platform, and the ATV could tip backwards off the truck. My original straps rotted and broke. It is much better and heavier than webbing and offers a long and reliable service life.
