GTI buyers beware of lighting conversion kits

I bought these for my 2017 VW GTI S with standard halogen headlights. Revane told me they would fit, so I believed. I'm not sure if they will ever work, but to install them you need a special adapter, the one on the lamp is too small, you also have to remount the power supply and finally you have to remove the grille and spacers. Above the headlight assembly and front bumper to access the headlights for modifications. Absolutely not worth the effort. I'll just wait until the Helix devices are back on the market and maybe get them at some point. I can't say anything bad about the lamps, but I just want VW owners to know.
