This product does what you really want it to do - remove the lock nut from the front propeller. A socket wrench that removes the first nut is fine - my experience is that the handle will bend and give slightly before my nut is lost. I ended up having to use the ratchet and socket I already had. He removed the patented nut, but had to use a long-handled screwdriver as the included handle bent/bent again in the process.
