I have had several other label printers and find the P-Touch the most user-friendly. My fingers don't hit the two keys because they're far enough apart. Everything I needed to start using it was included. Requires six 'A' type 'A' batteries which are also included with the machine. Loading the ribbon into the label printer was very easy and I had it up and running within ten minutes (see instructions). I'm always reading instructions because technology is moving fast and I know it's just a label printer, but I hate going back thinking I know what I'm doing. It only took me once to get myself to spend a few minutes studying the instructions. It works well and has shortcuts to many of its features to speed up the process. We found our feet very quickly with the P-Touch as the instructions are very clear and informative on all aspects of the label printer. The quality is good, the pieces fit together well, the seams and gaps are the same too. Now we are professional in making labels. Four stars βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈ!
