I'm new to this type of gear but I'm impressed with the product. The phone attachment was a bit fiddly (attached to the phone first and then the monocular) and also required fiddling with the phone app to get good results (I can use the phone's zoom to remove the round image, etc.). The first attempt to film a hummingbird in slow motion received very good reviews. The 12x magnification can blur the view, so I order a mini pistol grip tripod to help with this (I think the higher magnification is worth it). The overall quality seems very good and I quickly got used to looking with my eyes closed.
