Double check the connectors
Make sure both connectors are seated properly and the plastic on the top is not broken. Also check the metal tab on the second joint to make sure it hasn't tilted. It should point straight ahead. Mine bent a bit on the second (the magnet broke on the first). It's been 2 months since then and he's still going strong. Installation on a 2008 Honda Accord is tedious as you have to remove the entire intake manifold.
