It just can't stand it.
I'm a longtime fan of Karen Pryor and had the pleasure of taking a class with Terry Ryan. I want to love this case for its great design and good performance. But I use a bait bag every day and none of these bags last more than 4 or 5 months. They all fail in the same way - the loop breaks and forms sharp edges. And it's beyond repair. If you rarely use your bag, you might be fine. But for everyday use in real life I look elsewhere.
