Review on 💪 Powerful 528GPH Mini Wavemaker: SunSun JVP-110 with Suction Cup (1 Head) - Discover Optimal Water Flow! by Sheila Hill

I bought this wavemaker for my 29g and it's too strong. I placed it an inch below the waterline and turned it toward the front glass and slightly up. However, he almost threw up my plants on the other side of the tank and my guppy fry got caught in the current. Although my Chinese seaweed lovers must have enjoyed the strong current! My plants were bent nearly 90 degrees from the amperage and were eventually pulled out of the substrate (1 inch potting soil; 2 inch Eco-complete). I give this product 4 stars because it works well. However, the holes around the head of the wave generator are big enough to suck in small fish and especially invertebrates (not a very pleasant sight). I was directed here by "AquaPros" on YouTube and there was no misdirection on his part, but his demo video was in a 40g tank and it looked like the "perfect" amount of waves and currents. Overall this wave generator is too powerful for PLANTED tanks under 40g and be careful with the holes around the head, they will kill! I wrapped mine in a pre-filter and tied it with fishing line and it still worked fine, too well ha.
