Amazing flashlight. As a mechanic in a manufacturing facility, I carry a flashlight on my belt from the moment I get dressed for work until I get home from work. I have several AA Streamlights that are over 10 years old. They were manufactured by the company and appeared long before LED technology was available at an affordable price. I switched to Coast when the company stopped making flashlights. My only issue with the Coast was battery drain. Some of my colleagues have this headlight so I bought it with two extra spare batteries. Wow, he's amazing, persistent and bright as the sun. I think that will last until my retirement and then a little longer. The only thing that confuses me is the so-called holster that it comes with. I usually make my own holsters out of fillet knife leather sheaths or leather tongs. Cut off the bottom of the holster and soak the rest in alcohol. The alcohol will soften the skin and then stick the flashlight inside. After drying, it takes the shape of a flashlight. Do this a few times and you've got a durable, handcrafted holster for less than $10. I did this for about 15 years and each time it took the flashlight to sit on the shelf in my garage as a backup.
