Update 2018: My aunt was looking for modest tankinis for her granddaughter's swimming class. I suggested this tankini that I bought in 2016. She tried it on, size 8, and it fit her perfectly, so I bought her the same size. When it arrived it wasn't the same size or cut as the one I received in 2016. Keep in mind I've only worn it 3 or 4 times and it's been hand washed each time so this isn't the case. the fabric becomes freer through the washer/dryer. The new one is longer in the waist (which is great as the 2016 version was short in the waist) but also a size smaller, much narrower in the shoulders and stomach. With the new size and cut, it is recommended to buy one size up now. -------------------- --------------------------2016: Great for a weekend near the water where you won't wear it want a real swimsuit, like kayaking or sea kayaking. The bust had good support as the band is only in the front and does not cover the body. Good for someone with a small to medium chest, but I see someone with a large chest isn't going to get much support. It's not good for real swimming or fear of the shirt riding up and accidentally exposing someone as the band doesn't wrap around. The shirt is too short even for me and I am a petite woman.
