Review on πŸ§₯ Columbia Timberwolf Large Boys' Fleece Jacket: Superior Warmth & Style for Your Little Explorer by Rob Rogers

Decent Fleece

Looks better than pictured. Was looking for a heavyweight fleece as a classic raincoat for a full 3 season raincoat suitable for my almost 3 year old to jump in puddles in 40 degree weather, but quality heavyweight fleece is hard for a toddler to a reasonable one find price. It's not a bad second option. This is a medium weight fleece, thicker than most and exactly what I expected between the photos and other reviews. Unlike many, this doesn't look like a fake. Smells a little, fresh out of the bag as you'd expect from a fabric, but I tossed it in the wash and it's not bad enough to hit yesterday's "dirty" clothes. I'll downgrade it to a 4 if the smell doesn't go away after a few washes or if it doesn't last. Fit wise reviews seem to agree with others for the real Columbia fleece, a little tight in the underarms and about a half size smaller than expected. My son wears 3-4T depending on how loose we need it or the brand. 4T tops/jackets tend to fit around his shoulders, have long sleeves and are a bit loose in the torso, but this suits him perfectly with a thin t-shirt and a thin long-sleeved shirt. If it works for him I'll buy a second one but a few sizes up to make sure it fits his raincoat size.

Pros
  • COMFORTABLE FEATURES: This MTR fleece jacket has two zippered hand pockets to keep imported treasures close at hand, while the high collar keeps your neck warm.
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
