Such a shame. Another once famous and respected British brand that went bankrupt due to lack of money and poor quality. I ordered the first pair and when they arrived, although they looked very nice and had a quality leather upper and sole, one of the holes broke when I tried them on for the first time. Replacement ordered so what? One of the loops broke while adjusting the laces before I even tried them on. I've worked on brand quality for most of my career and believe me the best way to destroy a brand is to evaluate the project and skimp on the product resulting in poor quality or durability. Goodbye hush puppies.
