These filters fit my DC40 as expected, are sealed and work like the originals. The canister filter is slightly thinner than the original filter, so we'll see how well it holds up over time. The Hepa motor filter fits just right and doesn't make any weird noises like other reviews claim. Mine was already making noise from a clogged filter, so this improved it overall. There were no washing instructions in the bag or anything other than filters. I'll probably take the 2nd set, so. I can always have a freshly washed/cleaned set on hand. I recommend Wukd to anyone who has an Animal DC40.
