Will give 4 or 5 stars except the included knives are NOT designed to fit the included aluminum ruler guide. In fact, the handle on the side of the knife interferes with the guide side of the ruler, and you need to use the measuring side of the ruler like a regular ruler, after that you can also buy a cheaper metal meter. Newer construction tools are designed for rail cutting, but are of course sold separately. It cuts foam very well and while it works with foamed PVC it doesn't cut as cleanly as I had hoped, you have to press hard enough to embed the cutter's plastic base into the PVC.
