Review on Gamepad Sony DualShock 4 (CUH-ZCT1E), Star Wars by Janis Riekstins ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Everything about the product satisfied me, the price is perfect.

On the Logitech F710, after 6 years of use, the sticks and triggers are much tighter than they are here. Yes, soft sticks and triggers are comfortable and pleasant to play, but most likely they will loosen up much faster. In a word, the reliable operation of the controller in the next couple of years is doubtful. I immediately put rubber pads on the sticks (fortunately, they are sold in bundles on Chinese Internet sites) to make it more convenient to play, and so that the sticks do not wear out. It was purchased exclusively as a pad for PC, I didn’t find anything better from other models of PC pads for myself. Wound up immediately, through a Bluetooth 4.0 adapter, bought in the same China for a penny, and through the DS4Windows program. I was pleased that in addition to the actual buttons, sticks, and triggers, this program fully supports the accelerometer (you can shake the device in different directions to control the mouse, it’s quite convenient in shooting games), the gyroscope (you can rotate the controller in different directions like it’s a steering wheel, and so how to control a car/truck in racing/simulation), and a touchpad (controls the cursor like a touchpad on a laptop, pressing the touchpad itself is the left button, and touching with two fingers is the right button). In general, in my opinion this is the best gamepad for PC, only the Steam Controller is better than it, but it also costs more.

Pros
  • 1) Convenience, ergonomics; 2) Touchpad 3) Ability to connect various accessories through the port at the bottom; 4) The ability to easily connect this device as a gamepad for PC!
Cons
  • 1) The battery runs out quickly; 2) The disadvantage that follows the previous one is a lot of battery discharge / charge cycles, which will ruin it very much over time; 3) All movable elements are too soft, easy to press, as if designed for a child (although stop, it is most likely).
