The installation scared me a little, I thought the plastic was going to break but I didn't and everything fitted together. My case is a bit thicker than the mount but still holds it in place with one hand, I can put it on and take it off and my arms wrap tightly when it's in the right position. My last charger broke in the snug compartment so it's a good thing it's based on the weight of the phone it's covering. The fact that it fits the MT Toyota Highlander perfectly is another reason I bought it and there is nothing taped to my dash and it's easy to remove. So far so good, I'll amend my post if it breaks too soon.
