Nice finish, great color that's fading a bit

I usually paint on it with open acrylic paints. They take color very well. The surface is somewhat absorbent, so the paint dries quickly and has a slightly matt finish. They can take some abuse; I even dropped one on a corner and it didn't crack, although I was probably lucky. Brown is pretty good for some subjects and it really helps with the color. He tries to unify the picture. For me it works best when there is some blue or green in the subject to balance out the brown, so landscapes work well. If I want a different background color I can tint it slightly and continue painting as the first layer dries very quickly. I put some samples on the south window to see if they have faded and after half a year I noticed some fading. or so, more after a year. To solve this problem, I started applying the appropriate clay to the surface; yellow oxide mixed with raw umber is near. If the frame is under glass, this probably isn't necessary. Technically, I was trying to figure out if it's basically an industrial product. These are resin-impregnated papers/cardboards that are used to make laminated kitchen worktops, among other things. The most likely candidate I've found is called Polybak, which is similar but not identical. I'm assuming it's some sort of laminate floor. These products mostly come in huge rolls or sheets, so Guerrilla Painter has a service to make them available! The closest product I know of under art supplies is the Multimedia Artboard, which is available in white or black.
