Good adhesion but leaves a sticky residue

I tried another brand and they started to lose adhesion after a week or sometimes earlier. This brand lasts almost three times longer before it starts to fail. However, when it fails, it leaves a sticky mess. Goop is the glue that attaches the rubber to the double-sided tape that sticks to your glasses. It oozes out the sides and sticks to whatever cloth you use to clean your glasses if you accidentally clean the nosepiece. Once on the glasses, it's a HUGE PAIN to remove. Slime stains resist rubbing and soap, and unless you're near a sink it's almost better to live with a stain on your lenses than trying to remove it, as it will spread and leave a stain on the lens entire lens.
