Review on 🔴 Craftsman 9-17816 Vacuum Cartridge Filter 8.5 Inches - Red/White - General Purpose by Danielle Ward

2015: Ordered this 17816 filter for my old red Sears Craftsman model 113.xxx 9 gallon shop vacuum. It comes in an official Craftsman box, good quality and fit. I find that the red line around it usually indicates a good filter regardless of manufacturer. Dimensions: 6.75" OD x 7.75" H with 4.25" ID hole. Mine goes through a tall plastic cage with a plastic rod in the center with a threaded end. The black plastic cap that came with this filter is double threaded for vacuums with wide center rods but only with an internal grip ring to fit my narrow threads. Not so sure so I use a 7/16-14 nut with a 1" washer (wrench 11/16 "). There are 4 filters of the same size in the product line, so choose the one that best suits your use: 1) 17816 for general purpose (this filter); 2) 17907 for finer dust and ash; 3) 17912 for extremely fine filtering of pollen and allergens; and 4) wet filter 17292 only.
