I have a mountain of about 30,000 bricks to knock away the mortar. I broke three wooden-handled hammers to move four pallets. This item is worth more than I paid for it. The chisel is sharp and the square head breaks through solid mortar instantly. Flat10/10 will buy again. Actually, I should probably get half a dozen before the price goes up. The polymer grip is comfortable and absorbs shock. Tool steel is hard. What else are you looking for? If you do what I do, it will help you get the job done. I assume that this hammer will come in handy when laying bricks, it will easily gouge out a groove or a groove for non-standard corners and recesses.
