Thickness (Width): Turns out it was packaged the wrong size in Honduras, which wasn't even closed yet. Not a big deal, but at one point I planned to return it and was afraid that the fact that it wouldn't even fit in the original packaging would become a problem. Installation and setup? It wasn't originally synced to my 30A Surge Guard model 34931 so I wanted to return it. Took out the batteries and held the buttons down for 15 seconds to drain any remaining charges and tried again. Still no luck. At one point it occurred to me that the local Wi-Fi router in my RV might be down, so I temporarily turned it off and then finally connected. Once paired, it's worked well for the past few months, although Wi-Fi is also enabled. Value? It's too expensive for the small convenience of being able to read the surge protector remotely. But it was a gift so I'm happy.
