Do you prefer stylish light switches? It seems that all smart switches on the market are white or some kind of soft option. SONOFF is here to help. I was able to use these amazing ZigBee mini smart switches to upgrade my existing light switches into a smart home ecosystem. They were easy enough to set up and install. I can still use the light switch to turn the light on and off manually, but now I can also turn the light on and off at sunset/sunrise or any other occasion. I've only been using it for a few days, but no problems so far. I will update if anything changes. Thank you! Here's what I did. Prep: • Make a short 4 inch two wire jumper for each mini smart switch (this is only a 3.3V control line so I used spare speaker wire) • (Optional) I needed at home a short wiring when I used them in multiboxes (a white power wire is needed to power all mini smart switches) Installation: • Connect the light switch to the mini with jumpers and power/load lines according to the wiring instructions smart switch. • After switching on you will see a blinking green light inside • Open the SmartThings app on your phone and search for devices • Once the green light on the mini smart switch lights up, the device is found (you can cancel the scan , as it takes a long time) • In SmartThings, mark the new device according to where it will be used and tested. Extras: • I made a small template to pre-configure all devices because I had to configure many devices.
