What a nice surprise. This cable is incredibly well made. The quality of the cable itself and connectors are about as good as I have seen, regardless of price. Unlike some overly thick and stiff braided cables this one is just slightly thicker than the original (AKG K702), which seems to be resistant to cable noise just like the original. As a bonus it is offered in different lengths and looks very durable. Would a Cardas cable be technically superior, yes. Is there a reason to buy one specifically for a headphone use? After seeing and listening to this cable, a resounding No. This cable is an absolute win, I hope the company making it keeps committed to the high quality. I will try to update the review if I find any problems.
