It would be great if there was an auto shut off feature. This rice cooker gets the job done, but not without the grains sticking to the bottom of the pot in time for cooking time. No beep when rice is done; The button automatically switches from "cook" to "keep warm". So you need to keep a close eye on it. I've scraped the rice off the floor several times. Overall it's worth what it's sold for, but I wouldn't consider it a bargain. I will replace it with a better one soon.
