very sturdy and amazing at just chomping thru even thicker branches. However not lightweight, and definitely requires some good, leveled footing and endurance when cutting branches overhead (with the arms fully extended). Definitely prefer grabbing a small ladder and getting up to the branch versus extending the lengths of the arm. That said, in a pinch it works fine. Amazing cutter though, very smooth, very easy, and the fact that it came with bonus knife/cutter mechanism to replace when the first ones are worn out is even better bang for your buck. Keep the cutter clean and don't leave it outside and the original should last you quite some time.
