BEST Candles! THE WORST candles. These are really large flameless candles, about the size of a tea candle (actually a votive candle). These are the ONLY realistic moving candles of this size that I have ever found. I love them very much - until I have to change the battery. It's bloody hard to remove the battery cover and almost IMPOSSIBLE to put the cover back on! Nickel works best, but that's only about half the time. I broke a few of these trying to remove or reattach the battery cover. And the tape only holds the lid effectively once in a while when it's broken. (A manufacturer's note I read somewhere says this is all due to the pressure required to run the battery.) Somewhere, a reviewer explained how to use a nail file to trim the tips of the ends of the protrusions to shave, to which they are inclined and enter the grooves more easily. I'll try it next time I change the battery. Hopefully one day the manufacturer will find a way to fix this. Tip: Batteries will last longer if you turn the candles on and off manually instead of using a timer.
