I really want this, but basic problems prevent me from using it

--PROS--1. Looks great. There's a slight color mismatch between it and the Mini, but it's slight enough to be easily ignored. When plugged in, it looks like a Mac Mini Pro. The connection cable is designed so that its length is sufficient to connect to the device and not otherwise interfere. It goes a long way toward the illusion of being built-in. 2. Very convenient. Obviously there are many hubs available, but this one stays in place and offers all the ports I need. -- DISADVANTAGES -- 1. Heat up. The Mini gets a lot hotter when playing Factorio, to the point where I can't put my hand on it comfortably. I hate to think what that does to CPU life.2. Wireless Interference. I could handle the heat (I figured the EGPU was just taking some stress off the case), but when I found it was making my Wi-Fi connection extremely unreliable, I had to ditch it. I want nothing more than to be able to connect via ethernet, but that's not possible, so I'm stuck with Wi-Fi. The signal kept dropping, I accidentally disconnected from the WiFi and sometimes showed that I was connected, but lost 100% of the packets. Even my bluetooth keyboard had problems. In hindsight, this seems obvious given that the Mini's Wi-Fi antenna sits outside of a metal case under a plastic stand, and this hub encases it in aluminium. At first I understood that the problems were somewhere in the network (perhaps the location of the router), but with any other device (including a nearby PC) there are no problems, and after removing the hub everything gets better. I should have dropped it. Aluminum looks and feels great, but that base should probably be plastic (or maybe ceramic?).
